Why Gisou hair oil is a cult favourite

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil is a lightweight finishing oil made with honey from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden and a blend of eight nourishing oils. It melts into the lengths of your hair, smooths flyaways and leaves a glossy, healthy-looking shine. Our testing shows up to 2x shinier hair, with frizz control and hydration that last for up to 3 days.

For anyone in the UAE, that frizz claim matters. Stepping from a dry, air-conditioned room into humid outdoor air is exactly when hair puffs up. A couple of drops on the ends is often enough to keep it smooth.

Who it is for

The oil suits all hair types, whether straight, wavy, curly or coloured. What changes is the amount. Fine hair needs very little; thick or curly hair can take more. If your hair is very fine or goes flat easily, the lighter Collagen Drops may suit you better.

Key ingredients

  • Mirsalehi honey: honey from our family bee garden, used to help hydrate hair.
  • Bee Garden oil blend: eight oils, including sweet almond, coconut, argan and passionflower seed oil, for softness and shine.
  • Vitamin E: in two forms, tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate.
  • Silicones: help smooth the hair surface, reduce frizz and add slip.

How to use

  1. Before styling: warm a few drops between your palms and apply to damp hair from mid-lengths to ends.
  2. After styling: smooth a drop over dry hair to tame frizz and add gloss.
  3. As a treatment: mix a few drops into the Ceramide Therapy Hair Mask and leave it on for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Overnight: apply to the lengths before bed, then wash in the morning.

How much: 1 to 2 drops for fine hair, 2 to 3 for medium hair, 3 or more for thick hair. Start small and add more if needed.

Tips for the UAE climate

Keep the oil away from your roots, especially in summer heat, so hair stays fresh for longer. Apply it before blow-drying or straightening; our testing shows heat protection up to 230°C.
