This policy explains how Gisou (“we”, “us”), collects and uses your personal data when you visit or shop at gisou.ae. We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

  • Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.

  • Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
  • Website data: technical data such as your device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies.

We do not see or store your full card details. Card and Apple Pay payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

How we use your data

  • to process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds
  • to reply to your questions
  • to send order and delivery updates
  • to send our newsletter, only if you have signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • to keep the website secure and understand how it is used, so we can improve it
  • to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties

Who we share it with

We only share data with the people who help us run the store, and only what they need: our payment provider, our delivery team, our website hosting and email providers, and Google Analytics. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as UAE law requires for tax and accounting. Other data is kept only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for.
